Are you willing to be vulnerable?

It is hard – let’s face it – to share our deepest feelings with others. Will I be rejected for being my authentic self?

Lisa Fritscher from “Recovering From the Fear of Vulnerability” states there are emotional benefits to being vulnerable, one being stronger relationships: Being vulnerable with others is a way to foster intimacy. It can deepen your compassion, empathy, and connection to others in your life.

At what point do we start opening up about ourselves for others to feel they can share more about themselves in order to build stronger relationships we need in our families and communities?
